Congratulations to Scott Witzig for being named the Morton Chamber of Commerce 2013 Distinguished Service Award Winner!
Scott is the Executive Director of the Morton Community Foundation.
When responding to various kudos, Scott replied, “Thank you all for your kind remarks. I am proud to live and serve in Morton, but also quite proud to serve in the wonderful world of Community Foundations. You all are an inspiration to me.”
Scott is one of those quiet, loyal servants of the community foundation field — always at conferences and Alliance meetings, learning all he can — and we always learn something from him!!
