We believe that listening to the people living within each community is important. It is through listening that we best begin to understand the true needs, challenges, and opportunities.

Community foundations may be non-political, but we are not neutral. We care about issues and work hard to ensure they are addressed.

As a neutral convener, we bring people together to address issues and opportunities. We use our influence and community leadership to call people together to collaborate. If needed, community foundations act as a grantmaker to help fund the process.
