Matthew A. Marvin Community Impact Award Nominations

FREEPORT, IL.  – August 10, 2015 – The Freeport Community Foundation is excited to announce that nominations are open for the Matthew A. Marvin Community Impact Award.  This award recognizes the importance of philanthropy and giving back to residents of Northwest Illinois.

The Foundation is currently seeking nominees for the 2015 award.  The Impact Award honors an individual whose vision, humility, dedication, and enthusiasm positively impacts the community.

Nomination Criteria:

  • Narrative: Describe nominee’s contributions and community impact.
  • Nominations are due at the Foundation office by September 17.

The winner will be announced at the Foundation’s 40th Anniversary Fall Grant and Donor Reception on Thursday, October 22, 2015, at the Eagles Club, 1200 West Galena Avenue, Freeport, IL.  Nomination forms can be found on our website: www.freeportcommunityfoundation.org. Prior winners of the award: Matthew A. Marvin (2013) and David A Steenrod (posthumously 2014).
