Community Foundation Surpasses $60 Million in Grants and Scholarships, Thanks Its Donors

 

The Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley has surpassed a major milestone. Since its inception in 1948, the Foundation has awarded more than $60 million in total grants and scholarships.

As of December 31, 2015, the Foundation has awarded $47,510,852 in grants and $13,074,926 in scholarships, for a combined total of $60,585,778 in funding. Furthermore, the Foundation has received nearly $87 million in gifts since its inception, bringing its total philanthropic capital to nearly $147.5 million.

In addition, 28 new funds were established in 2015. The Foundation now administers 467 funds – a number that is continually growing.
