Please join us in welcoming Betsy Hull, Finance Director, to the DeKalb County Community Foundation staff. Betsy begins her new role on September 1 as the inaugural Finance Director and will be the eighth member of the Community Foundation staff.
As a Certified Public Accountant, Betsy brings over 20 years of accounting and finance experience to the Community Foundation with over 13 years of experience in the nonprofit sector with the NIU Foundation and the NIU College of Education. In addition, she has a B.S. in Accountancy from NIU and is currently seeking her Master’s Degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Nonprofit Leadership through NIU.
In addition to employment experience, Betsy has served as a board member for a variety of local organizations including the Sycamore Education Foundation, the NIU Annuitants Association, Opportunity House, Inc., and the Sycamore United Methodist Church.
Betsy currently lives in Sycamore with her husband, Brian, and their three children, Tyler, Jacob and Adyson.
